Hi My name is Sean and I build fences
I have lived in katy since 1994 and i plan to stay here a loooooong time
One summer, a tornado destroyed our back fence, and I had to build a new one. I constructed it the old-fashioned way, using a hammer and nails, it took me many months to finish. It took so long that I vowed never to build a fence again; Until Harvey came.
Like many, we lost our home and everything we had except for our dogs and the cloths we were wearing. We ended up moving in with family and starting over.
I went to work for a small company repairing homes damaged by the hurricane. One day, we did a fence and i was hooked. we had every tool i needed and it certainly makes it easier. I loved everything about it; it was fun and challenging, I enjoyed the physical hard work, and most importantly, seeing the results of my efforts. i think that is why i like building pretty looking fences.
the next week, I got hired on by a small family fence company in Houston. My foreman taught me everything I needed to know about building fences. What to do, what NOT to do. I learned all of the tricks, cheats, and shortcuts. The company claimed to prioritize quality, but ultimately as far as the culture, getting to the next job was the only focus.
At some point, I realized I did not like building fences that way, and i started to see that our values did not align. We both wanted to build fences and to earn a living, but we did it a different way.
So, I started to offer my own services on Nextdoor...i called it my relentless pursuit of perfection. you see, for me, there is no ultimate group to hold you responsible then your neighbors and community.....do one thing wrong and everyone knows before you do.... Fortunately, i do not think to many people know me lol
I believed in delivering the highest quality product while providing every customer the best experience possible. If they were not happy, I was not happy. That was eight years ago, and I still treat every job like its my first and last; and i still love what I do.
I always put myself into your shoes, i will never forget about the first fence i built and i will always try to understand your perspective.
