We like to go overbroad!

Its a good thing! First we used 4x6 post, larger then the standard 4x4's. We dig our holes 48 inches deep and used 140 pounds of concrete per post. Above and beyond.

For even more strength we use 2x6 cross rails with a 2x12 bevel rot broad.

For complete privacy, we overlap the pickets to prevent gaps in between the pickets.
